Marie Jacquot has established herself among the leading young conductors through numerous successful debuts with top-class orchestras, her consistent musical work, and her enthusiasm for discovering new works across the entire repertoire. Jacquot, who studied trombone before training as a conductor, was Kirill Petrenko’s assistant at Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich in 2016. Her trademark is expressive dynamics and a finely modelled sound that captivates from the very first bar with its richness of detail and conciseness.
