汉斯·艾布拉姆森

作曲

Hans Abrahamsen’s orchestral work Nacht und Trompeten was commissioned by the Berliner Philharmoniker and received its premiere under the baton of Hans Werner Henze at the Philharmonie Berlin in March 1982. Further commissions followed for the Danish Abrahamsen, a pupil of Per Nørgård and György Ligeti, who at the beginning of his career was considered a key figure in the “Neue Einfachheit” – a movement that originated in Germany in the 1970s, which with its minimalist, Neoclassical and neo-Romantic elements, saw itself as the antithesis of serialism. In addition to Abrahamsen’s Three Pieces for Orchestra, his Horn Concerto, dedicated to Stefan Dohr, was also given its first performance by the Philharmoniker.
