尼克劳斯·哈农库特对话奥拉夫·威尔赫莫 (17 分钟)

Anyone listening to Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony inevitably imagines the composer as a revolutionary firebrand. In October 2011, Nikolaus Harnoncourt and the Berliner Philharmoniker showed that this is only half the truth when they performed Beethoven’s symphony alongside the Mass in C major, composed in the same year; a work whose appeal lies not only in its vocal intensity but also in its intimacy and fine rhetoric. In our bonus video, Nikolaus Harnoncourt talks with journalist Olaf Wilhelmer about the concert programme.
