Jaap van Zweden en conversation avec Christoph Streuli Jaap van Zweden débute auprès des Berliner Philharmoniker
Ce concert marque les débuts de Jaap van Zweden au pupitre de chef des Berliner Philharmoniker. Premier violon solo de l’Orchestre du Concertgebouw d’Amsterdam à 19 ans, le musicien hollandais a opté plus tard pour une carrière internationale de chef d’orchestre qui l’a mené jusqu’à la tête du New York Philharmonic. Au programme de la soirée figurent la Symphonie n° 1 de Johannes Brahms et le Concerto pour orchestre de Béla Bartók.
