Family concert: “Peter and the Wolf”

Peter’s grandfather lives with many animals near the forest. A wolf, who also lives there, has his sights set on Peter’s animal friends. But the clever boy knows how to protect them: the chirping bird, the waddling duck, the stealthy cat. They all have their own melody in Sergei Prokofiev’s musical fairy tale Peter and the Wolf, played by a specific instrument. Author and narrator Tilman Birr brings the story to the stage in a new version, and a sound effects artist provides – in the truest sense of the word – electrifying tension.
