Information on accessibility
1. Offer of the Digital Concert Hall
The Digital Concert Hall is a streaming service provided by Berlin Phil Media GmbH (see also below section 4, "Berlin Phil Media" or "We") via the website www.digitalconcerthall.com ("Website") and the "Berliner Philharmoniker – Digital Concert Hall" apps for mobile devices, smart TVs, Blu-ray players, streaming boxes, and smart displays ("Apps"). Users of the Digital Concert Hall (for readability reasons hereinafter uniformly "Users" or "You") can access live concerts and concert recordings with the Berliner Philharmoniker, documentaries, musician portraits, interview recordings, and other audiovisual content on an internet-connected device.
2. Use of the Digital Concert Hall
You can access the content of the Digital Concert Hall through a modern web browser or via applications on all compatible smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, Blu-ray players, streaming devices, and smart displays. Depending on the bandwidth of the internet connection and the device used, the audiovisual content is available in different image and audio qualities.
You can only stream the majority of content in the Digital Concert Hall after registration on the Website or through the Apps, using Your email address and a self-selected password. Upon completion of registration, we will create a customer account for You. You will then have the opportunity to test the Digital Concert Hall for a certain period, during which You may stream all available content at no cost.
After this test phase, access to most content is subject to a fee. You have the option to purchase either a time-limited access or a permanent subscription via the Website or Apps. You may cancel the subscription at any time via the Website.
You can pay the usage fee either as a one-time payment (limited-time access) or monthly (subscription). You will receive information about the available payment methods at the latest before the start of the ordering process. For certain payment methods, You may be redirected to the payment service provider's website, where authentication and payment instructions are required. Users with a voucher can redeem it by entering the voucher code on the Website at https://www.digitalconcerthall.com/en/code.
As part of our offer Digital Concert Hall for Institutions, educational institutions such as libraries and universities can acquire multiple accesses for their users. If You are a member or user of such an institution and want to use the Digital Concert Hall, You must either log in via the institution's network with Your user data stored there or register via our Website or our Apps. The number of users who can simultaneously access the service depends on the agreement established between Berlin Phil Media and the institution.
