Sir Simon Rattle conducts Beethoven’s Symphonies

The performance of all Beethoven symphonies with their current chief conductor is always a milestone in the artistic work of the Berliner Philharmoniker. At the end of 2015, the cycle was performed under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle – in Berlin, Paris, Vienna and New York. The reaction was overwhelming. The audience responded with standing ovations to these performances, in which the virtuosity and revolutionary energy of these works were impressively revealed.
