The Asia Tour

These recordings from the Berliner Philharmoniker’s 2017 Asian tour – their last under Sir Simon Rattle – are a striking testament to the orchestra’s high artistic standards, dynamism and versatility. The concert programme was wide-ranging and interconnected: the focus was on symphonies by Brahms and Rachmaninov, complemented by Strauss’s Don Juan, Stravinsky’s Petrushka and Unsuk Chin’s Chorós Chordón.
