Soloists of the Berliner Philharmoniker: Noah Bendix-Balgley’s “Klezmer Concerto”

In his Fidl-Fantazye. A Klezmer Concerto, 1st concertmaster Noah Bendix-Balgley brings together two worlds that are equally close to his heart: classical music and klezmer. Together with other members of the orchestra, he presented the work as part of a Late Night concert. It is complemented here by exhilarating, predominantly dance-oriented arrangements of Klezmer melodies – during the performance of which Noah Bendix-Balgley’s enthusiasm for this music clearly rubs off on his colleagues.
