“Merry QUIZmas!” is the title of this somewhat different family concert from 2015. German television personality, singer and actor Malte Arkona is the guest of horn player Sarah Willis and the winds of the Berliner Philharmoniker this time, and together they transform the Philharmonie into a quiz show with the “best Berliner Philharmoniker audience in Germany”. While the winds of the Berliner Philharmoniker spread Christmas cheer with their music, Sarah and Malte put the audience through its paces with questions about music, musical instruments, the orchestra and of course Christmas itself. Our question to our two charming quizmasters – perhaps more meteorological than musical: are there snow flakes again this year?
