An invitation from the Vocal Heroes: Spring singalong concert

The Berlin Philharmonie has experienced quite a few musical highlights but this event really was something very special: a concert in which the music-making took place not only on the podium – the whole auditorium rang with song. It was all thanks to the Vocal Hero choirs of the Berliner Philharmoniker’s Education Programme who invited school pupils from all over Berlin to this grand singalong concert. With songs from different countries and in different languages, with part singing and canons – supported by lively choreography – they celebrated the arrival of spring. The concert was presented and conducted by Simon Halsey and the chorusmasters of the Vocal Heroes.
