Family concert: “Pulcinella”
Wearing pointed hats and grinning cheerfully, the Pulcinelli scamper onto the stage, full of curiosity. They peer into the dark morning – today, the sun just won’t rise. But the Pulcinelli are resourceful. Together with the audience and the Berliner Philharmoniker, conducted by Kirill Petrenko, they set out to find it. Igor Stravinsky’s music is full of surprises: playful violins, dancing trumpets, and melodies that sound very old at first and then suddenly perform a somersault. A concert that invites people of all ages to join in.
