Unsuk Chin and the Berliner Philharmoniker

Unsuk Chin is one of the most dynamic voices in contemporary music. Since 2005, the Berliner Philharmoniker have enjoyed a fruitful collaboration with the composer, whose music captivates listeners with its sheer endless variety of tonal invention. In recognition of this, the South Korean-born composer has been awarded, among other honours, the prestigious Ernst von Siemens Music Prize. This edition presents outstanding recordings of Chin’s solo and orchestral works with Myung-Whun Chung, Daniel Harding, Sakari Oramo and Sir Simon Rattle.
