Family concert: “Cello Christmas”
Fiery, funny, jazzy and sometimes uncontrollably emotional: this is how the 12 Cellists of the Berliner Philharmoniker play their way through the world’s music. In this Christmas concert, they present highlights of their repertoire. Horn player Sarah Willis guides the audience through the programme and asks the most pressing questions on the subject of the cello, such as what such an instrument costs, and how can you best make it sound like a cow.
