Eleonora Buratto is known for her extensive repertoire, which ranges from Mozart, Verdi, and Puccini to bel canto roles such as Adina and Norina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d'amore and Don Pasquale. In the role of Tosca, the Italian soprano caused a sensation at Bayerische Staatsoper with her dramatic power and captivating stage presence. Under the baton of chief conductor Kirill Petrenko, she can be heard with the Berliner Philharmoniker in the title role of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly – a role in which she has already received rapturous applause at the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
