Family concert: “Fabers Schatz”

It’s a heavy blow for little Faber when his beloved grandad emigrates to America. At least he receives a parting gift: a carpet that is supposed to be able to fly! But how do you get such a magical thing to take off? You can find out in the story Fabers Schatz (Faber’s Treasure) by Cornelia Funke, which is presented in this family concert. In a staged reading, narrator Rainer Strecker and members of the Berliner Philharmoniker bring the exciting adventure to life – and at the same time explore the question: what is language anyway?
