에마뉘엘 파위의 미하엘 잔데를링 인터뷰 (14 분)
The legendary conductor Kurt Sanderling has conducted the Berliner Philharmoniker on a regular basis since the late 1980s. In June 2019, his youngest son, Michael, who was successful cellist in his first artistic career, made his debut with the orchestra. The programme featured Joseph Haydn’s Second Cello Concerto and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Seventh Symphony. In this interval feature, Michael Sanderling talks to Emmanuel Pahud – principal flute with the Berliner Philharmoniker – about the specific appeal of juxtaposing a work by Shostakovich with a composition from the First Viennese School. In addition, he discusses the musical exchange with his father and the challenge of conducting a concerto whose solo part he often played himself as a cellist.
