Soul of Sound – A Year in the Karajan Academy
Places at the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker are highly coveted among young musicians. But those like conductor Nodoka Okisawa, violist Sara Ferrández and trumpeter Lennard Czakaj who have earned a place there are still a long way from reaching their goal. The film, which was made for the 50th anniversary of the school for young talents, accompanies the three scholarship holders, who are confronted with very different desires and challenges.
