“Upbeat”: Igor Stravinsky’s “Pulcinella” suite

The inspiration for Igor Stravinsky’s Pulcinella came from Commedia dell’arte and Italian Baroque music. Cellist Stephan Koncz provides an introduction to the ballet suite in Upbeat, and Kirill Petrenko can be seen in rehearsals.
