Madeleine Carruzzo: a portrait

From Herbert von Karajan to Kirill Petrenko: Violinist Madeleine Carruzzo has been a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker for four decades. In our film portrait, the Swiss-born Carruzzo tells how she came to take lessons with one of the most renowned violin teachers via the guitar, and how she felt when she became the first woman to be offered a position with the Philharmoniker in 1982.
