“Please call me Claudio”: The Visionary Claudio Abbado

An artist with great charisma: Claudio Abbado not only shaped the Berliner Philharmoniker as chief conductor from 1990 to 2002, but also laid invaluable foundations for orchestral culture through his work with youth orchestras. The documentary provides moving insights into his work and above all shows Claudio Abbado the man, who in all modesty preferred to be called simply “Claudio”.
