With her crystal-clear sound, organic vibrato and consummate bowing technique, Julia Fischer regularly performs on the world’s most prestigious concert stages. As the daughter of pianist Viera Fischer, the violinist can also be heard professionally on the piano – such as in 2008, when she played Grieg’s Piano Concerto and Saint-Saëns’s Third Violin Concerto at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt. Julia Fischer also brings her impressive artistic versatility to bear as a chamber musician and professor – as well as with the music platform JF Club, which she founded, and on which she provides insights into her work in text and video.
