Daniel Barenboim and Martha Argerich
Listeners can look forward to a legendary concert when these two international stars, who have known each other since childhood, appear together. Martha Argerich plays the solo part in Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto, in which the young composer seems absolutely exuberant. Under Daniel Barenboim – honorary conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker – Johannes Brahms’s Third Symphony, which vacillates between major and minor, will also be heard.
