Menahem Pressler in conversation with Carolin Pirich (25 min.)

The 90-year old Menahem Pressler recounts in conversation with the journalist Carolin Pirich the great importance that Mozart’s music has had in his life (“without Mozart we couldn’t fly”). Furthermore, we learn that even as a soloist the most important thing is not “to shine”, of encounters with conductors, and of the great good fortune of Pressler’s late career as a soloist after leading the legendary Beaux Arts Trio for more than fifty years.
