Marlis Petersen in conversation with Eva-Maria Tomasi (17 min.)

Marlis Petersen became internationally known as the temperamental and virtuoso title heroine in Alban Berg’s opera Lulu. In January 2014 she debuted with the Berliner Philharmoniker with George Crumb’s Ancient Voices of Children. On this occasion, Petersen speaks here with the violinist Eva-Maria Tomasi, a member of the orchestra since 1990, about George Crumb’s unusual composition, and her love of contemporary music and the Lied.
