Europakonzert from Liepāja with Kirill Petrenko
The Europakonzert 2022 was originally scheduled to take place in Odesa. Instead, the Great Amber Concert Hall in Liepāja, Latvia, hosted a programme dedicated to solidarity with Ukraine and peaceful coexistence in Europe. The Berliner Philharmoniker, chief conductor Kirill Petrenko and Elīna Garanča presented works whose message is one of freedom and self-determination.
