Piotr Anderszewski in conversation with Krzysztof Polonek (15 min.)

As a performer of works by Bach, Mozart, Schumann and Bartók to name but a few, Piotr Anderszewski is regarded as one of the most distinguished and insightful pianists of our time. He has a particular affection for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto in C minor which he performed together with the Berliner Philharmoniker in October 2015 under the baton of Giovanni Antonini. In conversation with his Polish compatriot Krzysztof Polonek, violinist with the Berliner Philharmoniker, Anderszewski talks about the characteristics of this work, working together with the orchestra, his Polish-Hungarian roots, and his decision to occasionally take time out from the concert business.
