Fabio Luisi and Evgeny Kissin
At 19, he was the last soloist to make his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Herbert von Karajan: Evgeny Kissin impressed listeners with his brilliant musicality and technique and has ranked among the keyboard greats since then. He interprets one of Mozart’s best-known piano concertos. Fabio Luisi also conducts Franz Schmidt’s late Romantic Second Symphony and a symphony by the Haydn pupil Marianna Martines.
