Evgeny Kissin in conversation with Sebastian Krunnies Fabio Luisi and Evgeny Kissin
At 17, he was the last soloist to make his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Herbert von Karajan: Evgeny Kissin impressed listeners with his brilliant musicality and technique and has ranked among the keyboard greats since then. He interprets one of Mozart’s best-known piano concertos. Fabio Luisi also conducts Franz Schmidt’s late Romantic Second Symphony and a symphony by the Haydn pupil Marianna Martines.
