Reinhard Goebel in conversation with Raimar Orlovsky (15 min.)

Reinhard Goebel has been leading the Ensemble Musica Antiqua Köln, which he founded, for more than 30 years – and it has been a global success. In the meanwhile he has also made a name for himself as conductor with national and international symphony orchestras. In conversation with Reimar Orlovsky, who has played violin with the Berliner Philharmoniker since 1991, Goebel speaks about his career and about the unusual programme of his Philharmonic debut, which included Jean-Féry Rebel’s suite Les Éléments, which begins with wild dissonances, and Mozart’s Notturno for Four Orchestras.
