Highlights this season were the concerts celebrating the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Philharmonie, the debut of 90-year-old pianist Menahem Pressler with the Berliner Philharmoniker, and Puccini’s Manon Lescaut in Baden-Baden and Berlin.
